Who We Are

Hello my name is Robert Peters, owner and builder of 3D Murphy Beds. I started 3D Murphy Beds after my first daughter decided that she wanted more space in her room to play. At the time I lived in a three bedroom home and my second daughter also had her own room. As you can guess at ages 4 and 6 neither would give up their own room to share with the other in order to leave an empty room that could be used by both as a play room. So I came up with the idea of murphy beds. Well that's when the search began for beds, only to be faced with prices well over $2000.00 for a basic murphy bed. Now I dont know about you, but I feel that's a bit much to spend on beds for two young children. So I decided to build a bed instead. Well one thing led to another and after having several requests from friends and family to build beds for them, I decided why not build a quality bed for less so that others could afford to save space yet still provide a comfortable bed for their guests and family. And maybe even avoid a war between siblings!

Our Business

At 3D Murphy Beds I only build quality. All of our beds are built with real wood, no particle board or pressboard. No nails are used to put these beds together. I use only screws and glue on every joint. This makes for a solid bed that will not squeak and creak with every movement. I believe that no bed is complete until the customer is happy. I will work with you on the bed from design to delivery, and installation. Again the bed is not complete until you are happy. There are many other builders of Murphy Beds out there, and you are welcome to check them out. When you decide that you don't need a bed that will cost two, three, or even four times as much then give me a call and let me build you the bed you need and want at a price you can afford!

Our Name

The Name "3D Murphy Beds".

The Company is named for my three daughters.

Mckayla who is 26 years old, Sydney who is 24 years old, and Riyah who is 16 years old.

I wanted to name the company after them but I figured if I put all their names together the name of the company would be way to long. So along came the name 3D for 3 Daughters. I figured since it was my daughters want for space that got me started in this it would only make sense to name it after them and give credit where credit is due.
